Our Trainers Graduate !
Sally Fowler-Davis (York St John University), Alan Norton (Assist UK) and Jane Vevers (Disabled Living, Manchester).
On 3rd July, Manchester Art Gallery, which is a part of Manchester City Galleries, played host to the first graduation day of the Training the Trainers pilot programme, run in conjunction between Assist UK and York St John University.
The day was opened by Alan Norton, Chief Executive of Assist UK, and followed by a number of presentations including Eileen Symonds from Birmingham City Council, and Jules Gregory, one of the graduating students. The day closed with a Continuous Professional Development session run by the university.
Sixteen students graduated from the course and will go on to deliver Trusted Assessor training in various regions across the country.
