ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management solution centralizes asset data, automates lifecycle processes, and strengthens accountability and compliance

CHICAGO, Oct. 29, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SDI Presence LLC (SDI), a leading IT consultancy and managed services provider, announces the successful implementation of ServiceNow Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for the City of Chicago’s Office of Public Safety Administration (PSA). The modernization gives PSA a centralized approach to tracking, managing, and auditing nearly 60,000 mission-critical assets deployed across the city.

Working with SDI, PSA replaced fragmented systems, spreadsheets, and manual workflows with a centralized EAM solution on the ServiceNow platform. The new environment establishes a single source of truth for asset data, automates key lifecycle and audit processes, and gives PSA greater visibility into assets from acquisition through retirement.

The modernization supports the City of Chicago’s commitment to accountability, transparency, and compliance with its federal consent decree. More accurate, auditable asset records and chain-of-custody tracking for critical equipment, including body-worn cameras, Tasers, and radios, strengthen PSA’s controls and reporting capabilities while helping ensure equipment is available where and when it is needed.
