NEW YORK, Oct. 12, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Dilworth Paxson LLP announced today that Stephen M. Lazare, Yale Glazer and Andrew M. Premisler have joined the firm in its Insurance Services Group, expanding the firm’s capabilities in complex coverage counseling and litigation. The team joins Dilworth from Lazare Potter Glazer & Moyle LLP.

The team has represented both domestic and international insurers in first- and third-party matters, including commercial general liability, first-party property/ casualty, professional liability, construction defect, environmental, employment practices, bad faith and other extra-contractual exposures. The lawyers also serve as pre-litigation counsel, work with experts and adjusters to assess losses and advise carriers and defense counsel on case management, settlement strategy and coverage issues.

The team’s arrival follows the addition of three experienced real estate lawyers to Dilworth’s New York office in May and reflects the firm’s continued investment in growing its presence in the mid-Atlantic market. Robert L. Baker, Jr., Michael J. Willner, and Jesse M. Dimitro joined the firm with practices focused on commercial real estate transactions, leasing, and related litigation.

Lazare has more than 40 years of insurance experience. He has represented carriers at the trial and appellate levels in first-party and third-party disputes involving property and casualty, professional liability, construction defect, bad faith and other coverage issues. He is a former chair and vice-chair of the New York State Bar Association’s TICL Insurance Coverage Committee. Lazare earned his J.D. from Albany Law School at Union University, where he served as Editor in Chief of the Law Review, and his B.A. at St. Lawrence University.

Glazer is a former Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office with extensive litigation and trial experience in first- and third-party coverage matters. His work includes examinations under oath, loss and coverage assessments, property claims, business income disputes, construction-related coverage and appeals. He is admitted in New York and New Jersey. Glazer earned his J.D. from Maurice A. Dene School of Law at Hofstra University and his B.A. from The University of Delaware.

Premisler has more than 25 years of experience in high-stakes coverage matters. His practice focuses on insurance coverage and commercial litigation. Throughout his career, he has represented major insurance carriers and other companies in all aspects of civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels. He is licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts and has chaired New York State Bar Association continuing legal education programs on insurance coverage. Premisler earned his J.D., cum laude, from New England Law and his B.A. from the University of Vermont.
